The Premier League have announced proposals to play an extra round of fixtures - GAM£ 39 - in whichever foreign country is prepared to pay most for the privilege.

Within minutes of the announcement, the Football Supporters’ Federation was swamped with reaction from angry fans, incensed at the Premier League ’s latest snub for supporters as they try to squeeze ever more money from the game of football.

The FSF will be hosting a meeting at The Wednesdayite  Lounge, The Hillsborough Club, on Thursday 21st February for all supporters to attend and air their views over what action can be taken to persuade the Premier League to cancel these plans.

This meeting is not an official Wednesdayite meeting and will be hosted by the Yorkshire, Humberside and North Midlands Football Supporters' Federation, therefore all football fans from the region are welcome to attend. Wednesdayite shall only be facilitating.
