The Wednesdayite Lounge is to remain at The Hillsborough Club, Bradfield Road for the remainder of the current season.

Our usual venue upstairs at The Park, Wadsley Lane has been closed for some weeks whilst an extensive refurbishment of the main ground floor bars has taken place.

This refurbishment is now complete and The Park has re-opened its doors this week. Unfortunately however the new licence does not currently extend to the first floor Function Room which has previously housed the Wednesdayite Lounge.

Sheffield City Council is insisting that all public areas are fitted with CCTV and this is unlikely to take place, as far as the Function Room is concerned, in the immediate future. In the circumstances, it is not possible to move back to our original venue in the short term although we will be reviewing our options in the upcoming close season.

Our thanks go to everyone at The Hillsborough Club who have made Wednesdayite and its members very welcome. We are in discussions with their officials as to how we might improve upon some aspects of the overall pre-match experience for our members.
