Jim Bainbridge co-opted to Wednesdayite Board

Category:   Wednesdayite News | Author:   JamesHargreaves

Wednesdayite Directors voted unanimously to offer grandstander Jim Bainbridge a co-opted Director position on Wednesdayite's Board at their Board Meeting held at SWFC on Saturday.

Jim, who has accepted the offer, has been a Wednesday fan since his dad took him and his brother to Hillsborough in the late 70's when Mel Sterland joined the club (Mel was in his Dads team at Waltheof School) He has been a season ticket holder for 20+ years, migrating from The Kop to the South Stand, and now The Grandstand with his daughter and 2 year old son.

Jim is also a shareholder and takes a keen interest in events both on and off the field - and his meaningful and insightful input at the Wednesdayite ballot meeting in August impressed Directors to the extent that further discussions have now led to his co-option.

Outside of SWFC Jim and his wife live in Todwick and own a Specsavers franchise in Hucknall near Nottingham.

Welcome Jim!
