Notice is hereby given that the seventh Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the society will be held at the Foers Lounge, 1st Floor South Stand, Hillsborough, Sheffield S6 1SW on Wednesday 10th December 2008 at 7.30pm (doors open 7.00pm) for the purpose of considering the following business:

• To receive a verbal report on the work and role of the Society
• To receive the Trust’s Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2007.
• To re-appoint Barber Harrison and Platt as Auditors of the Society until the conclusion of the next AGM
• To ratify the appointment to the Society Board of five members (James Hargreaves, Paul Andrew Holmes, Jessica Derrick, Lee Stephen Keys and Peter Howard Shaw ) (see note 2 below)
• Any other business

Notes.

1. There were five nominations for the six available positions and therefore there is no need for a postal ballot of members. The candidates’ statements will be available on www.wednesdayite.com for your information.
2. Voting for the resolutions will be conducted by a poll of members present at the AGM in person or by Proxy. If you are attending the AGM you can vote in person at the meeting. If you are unable to attend you can vote by completing and returning a proxy form (included with the Wednesdayite Newsletter) by 8th December 2008.
3. If attending in person please bring your membership card as proof of membership to assist in giving you a voting card.
4. Non members are encouraged to attend but will not be eligible to vote.
