Wednesdayite is the trading name of Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society Ltd. - a Supporters Trust registered under the Industrial and Provident Society Act of 1965, registration number 29202R.
Most importantly of all, Wednesdayite is a means to bring together supporters of Sheffield Wednesday and it's community.
We aim to be a democratic and inclusive organisation, with the only pre-requisite of becoming a member being that you are a supporter of Sheffield Wednesday Football Club.
Our remit is to benefit our football club and community, with many schemes and facilities aimed at assisting supporters both locally and around the world, on both matchdays and non-matchdays.
Wednesdayite are a member of Supporters Direct - the government-led supporters trusts initiative, and the Football Supporters Federation.
Since it's inception, Wednesdayite have introduced many schemes and initiatives to benefit Sheffield Wednesday, it's fans and it's community. Below is a non-exhaustive list of some of the facilities and successes provided:

Reduced membership fee from £20 p.a. to £10 p.a. and introduced Junior membership

Introduced a new style innovative membership pack and personalised membership cards

Gave each member their personalised share certificate in the Society

Offer car park facility to members and non-members

Introduced a match day lounge facility which offers free food and has proved to be very popular

Introduced a cheap away coach facility for those wishing to travel to away matches

RULES
NAME AND DEFINITIONS
ii. to encourage the Club to take proper account of the interests of its supporters and of the community it serves in its decisions;
iii. to encourage and promote the principle of supporter representation on the board of any company owning or controlling the Club and ultimately to be the vehicle for democratic elections to the board;
iv. to increase the shareholding in the club as is deemed appropriate and to help safeguard minority interests. The 5,037,017 ordinary shares in Sheffield Wednesday Plc should not be sold or otherwise transferred
Some may say thats a sign of my rapidly advancing years, I might be inclined to agree – however in reality its down to the fact that I’ve been a regular at Hillsborough since well before I could walk.
