We at Wednesdayite are extremely lucky and honoured to have a group of patrons of the highest calibre, who have had and continue to have a key role both in lending their experience and expertise to the Board of Directors and also in helping the Society to have maximum impact in achieving all areas of our mission statement.

David BlunkettMP for Sheffield Brightside (latterly Brightside and Hillsborough) since 1987, David has enjoyed a high profile political life, becoming the youngest ever councillor on Sheffield City Council, then becoming leader between 1980 and 1987.

Paul PottsPaul started his career with the Sheffield Star and the Yorkshire Post as lobby correspondent before becoming a reporter for The Daily Telegraph, and then the Mail on Sunday.
