Jeff Williams

Jeff Williams

Services Director

I was born in Worksop in 1954, educated in Worksop and left school to do an NCB apprenticeship as an electrician.  I left the Coal industry in 1985 and have been driving instructing for the last 24 years.

I attended my first SWFC game in the early 60’s against Blackburn Rovers and the Owls won 4-0 and the bug hit home and the rest is history.

I’ve been through thick and thin and the dark days that have been around our club for the past decade reminds me of save the Owls campaign of the 70’s.

In the early days of following the Owls I used to watch the Owls from the Kop and remember standing on the kop with crowds of 60,000.  Now I can be found in the Grandstand and I have been a home season ticket holder for a good numbers of years and an away season ticket holder for about 7 years.

I’ve been a Wednesdayite director for the past 2 seasons and I can be found working on the Wednesdayite car park on every home fixture and organising the Wednesdayite away coach to which I travel to the away games on.
