23 October 2012
Owls BlogOwls Blog
Owls Blogger Chris Brookes returns to Wednesdayite.com with his latest blog, this time talking about the latest Owls debutant, Irishman Paul Corry.

Chris is a journalism graduate (Sheffield Hallam University), 22 years old and a Kop season ticket holder since 2004, but a fan from further back than that. He also runs his own blog beatsandrhymesfc.com where he interviews players past and present but with the different angle of discussing music with them, with some top name interviews on there so far. He also writes regularly about Wednesday whenever he gets the opportunity.

"On a Friday night of a compelling Yorkshire derby between Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds United the football was clouded by disgraceful incidents, but Wednesday’s young Irish midfielder and recent university graduate Paul Corry was a real source of promise in an impressive overall display from the home side.

Owls Blog - Kirkland Not The Cause Of Wednesday's Woes

28 September 2012
Owls BlogOwls Blog
Owls blogger brings us his latest blog to Wednesdayite.com, Richard Brook is a 31-year-old life-long Wednesday supporter, and amateur football writer. He lives with his wife and three Wednesday brain washed children. Like most of his generation Richard’s heroes were Hirst, Waddle and Sheridan, and as goalkeeper himself Kevin Pressman.

"There seems to be an odd misconception flying around Sheffield Wednesday fan’s internet sites of choice at the moment. Namely that the Owls’ new recruit between the sticks, Chris Kirkland, is an inferior option in terms of organising his back four. I have read many calls over recent weeks, during the indifferent run of form that saw Wednesday lose their last four league matches on the bounce, for Stephen Bywater to replace Kirkland in goal.

Owls Blog - Plug The Leak

28 September 2012
Owls BlogOwls Blog
Our regular Owls blogger Joe Crann returns to Wednesdayite.com with his latest blog and attempts a rallying call with the Owls having lost five in a row, hoping to end that run at Wolves on Saturday.  Joe is based in South Africa and is a journalist for Soccer-Laduma, Africa’s biggest football publication.  He's Sheffield born and bred and moved over to Cape Town, South Africa in 2011.

"Well, we’re now 10 games into the season and, in all competitions we’ve conceded 20 goals. Not ideal for a team that, last month, had fans dreaming of a second consecutive promotion.

Owls Blog - Bridging The Gap

26 September 2012
Owls BlogOwls Blog
Regular Owls Blogger and Sky Sports fan zone SWFC blogger Carl Mullooly brings his September blog to Wednesdayite.com with the recent run of results very much to the fore of Carl's mind.

"I’m writing this blog in a state of disbelief. Not because our team have lost four games on the bounce, but the reaction of a small section of our fan base and the select few who think a change in manager is necessary.
