This week Owls blogger Joe Crawthorn has written a very personal blog which is 'In Loving Memory' and that he wants to share with Owls fans.

"An event happened in my life this week that sums up just what it is to be a Sheffield Wednesday fan.

As I am sure most of you read in my opening blog for Wednesdayite, a very influential person in my life was my dad’s best friend, a guy who used to take me to Hillsborough when I was just a little nipper.

The new season blogs are coming thick and fast at the moment and we welcome another new Owls blogger to wednesdayite.com, Sam Longstone is a journalism student, sports fan and massive Wednesdayite and here is his 'Rallying Call' for 2012-13.
"Relegation from the Premier League at the turn of the century marked the beginning of a dull decade for most wednesdayites. Countless managers attempted to save our sinking ship but nothing could be done to spare us from mid table mediocrity, and plenty of promotions and relegations between the old third and second divisions.
