With the close season fully underway, where do we look for Football?  Whilst keeping an eye on who Dave Jones is signing for next seasons campaign we're lucky enough to have the Euros taking place this Summer. So we welcome yet another new Owls blogger to Wednesdayite.com, Laura Jones.

Laura is an Owl from birth and now writes and tweets about the pleasure and pain of being a football fan as any good sadomasochist would. Laura writes her own blog Yes I Can Explain The Offside Rule where she looks at an autobiographical view of being born and raised a Wednesdayite.

Owls Blog - Getting Ready For The Championship – Who Do We Hate Now?

Whilst the Bl*des look  forward to another season in League One and the Owls look forward to a season in the Championship without them new Owls blogger Matt Grant blogs for Wednesdayite.com on who our rivals will be next season.

Matt grew up in Rivelin in the 80s and 90s, bucking the trend within his family to become an Owl rather than a Blade. Now living in Manchester (for the time being), he continues to travel back across the Pennines for each home game, sitting on the Kop with his younger brother. He’s managed to convert one Manchester resident so far (his partner) to the Wednesday cause and continues to live in hope more will follow.

With the Owls having secured promotion to the Championship at the end of the 2011-12 season we welcome new Owls Blogger Chris Brookes to Wednesdayite.com.

Chris is a journalism graduate (Sheffield Hallam University), 22 years old and a Kop season ticket holder since 2004, but a fan from further back than that. He also runs his own blog beatsandrhymesfc.com where he interviews players past and present but with the different angle of discussing music with them, with some top name interviews on there so far. He also writes regularly about Wednesday whenever he gets the opportunity.
