We have yet another blog from regular Owls blogger Joe Crann and with the Owls great start to the season and Rodri bursting onto the scene, optimism is growing is S6. Joe is based in South Africa and is a journalist for Soccer-Laduma, Africa’s biggest football publication.  He's Sheffield born and bred and moved over to Cape Town, South Africa in 2011.

"On Tuesday night we saw Sheffield Wednesday’s latest signing, Rodri, burst onto the Hillsborough scene with a smart finish and some acrobatics to get Wednesdayites salivating about the future.

New York Owls Become Wednesdayite Affiliate Member

Following on from the announcement that East Midlands Owls became The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Society, Wednesdayite's first affiliate member.  We are delighted to announce that the New York Owls are to follow EMO and become their second link up with one of the Sheffield Wednesday community’s regional supporters’ groups which are based around the globe.

The New York Owls have agreed to become an affiliate member of Wednesdayite by agreeing to link up with the society.  NYO founder Paddy Jones said “We are very excited to become an affiliate member of Wednesdayite. I speak on behalf of all our members when I say that although we live in a different country our hearts are in Sheffield, especially at 10am on Saturday mornings when the games kick off over here! By affiliating with Wednesdayite we are contributing to the great community work they’re doing back home where most of our families still live.
