At the Wednesdayite AGM in July one of the items on the agenda was the future of the Society. To this end, incoming Vice-Chair Eddie Hoyland made a presentation to those present - which we are now making available for all Owls fans to view and discuss.

The intention of making the presentation public now, following not only presenting it to key figures within the club but also to the leaders of our fellow SWFC supporters groups, is to kick off discussion as to what the members of Wednesdayite and the wider fanbase want and need from a supporters' organisation as Wednesday experience something of a rebirth following the troubles of the last decade.

We hope that you find the presentation thought-provoking and inspiring - and we call on Wednesday fans from all areas and with all interests and skills to think whether there is something that they can bring to help us achieve this vision - of doing our part to put Wednesday back on the top of the footballing world where it belongs. We are keen to find new faces with new ideas - so if you see something that makes you think "that could be something I could help with", or if you've got a passion that you can bring to the table that we haven't thought of, then we're all ears. Ideally we'd like to see fresh faces and new blood right through the organisation - from the Wednesdayite Board, to matchday volunteers, through every part of who we are and what we do.

Wednesdayite may not be everybody's idea of the perfect fans' organisation. But I'm sure that most fans agree that a supporters' club is needed, and I believe that most fans would welcome the benefits of all kinds that a strong, popular and unified fanbase can bring. This isn't about politics - it's about making it better to be a Wednesday fan for everybody connected with SWFC.
