Match PreviewAfter three away games on the trot it's back to Hillsborough for the visit of Yeovil Town.
Wednesdayite.com match previewer Ricky Charlesworth previews the Owls v Yeovil Town League One game which takes place on Saturday 4th February 2012 with a 3.00pm kick off.
Blackpool Safety
Following our FA Cup tie at Blackpool, Wednesdayite have received numerous complaints from fans about the facilities, stewarding and policing at Bloomfield Road.
Such was the seriousness (and quantity) of some of these complaints that we have agreed to collate ALL complaints received from fans in attendance and take the matter up with Blackpool FC and any appropriate authorities on behalf of any fans at the game.
Park 'N' RideThe next local derby on the radar is against John Sheridan’s Wembley-bound but struggling Chesterfield on February 18th. Tickets for the match sold out to Wednesday fans in under 45 minutes – a truly magnificent effort and testament to the massive away support we have.
So if you’re lucky enough to have a match ticket, then we’ve got the perfect way to get to the match and back! Remembering the brilliant day out we all had at Bramall Lane in October, Wednesdayite will be again operating a Park and Ride service for the derby game against Chesterfield on Saturday 18th February. The kick off is at 1pm.
We will be operating two buses – the first departing at 10:00am and calling at fellow Wednesdayite Bill McCartney's pub "The Red Lion" at Brimington, before leaving the pub at 12:10pm for the rest of the journey to the B2net. The second bus will be departing from the Wednesdayite Car Park at 10:45am direct to the B2Net Stadium.

Owls Blog"Never a dull moment at S6 these days is there. What with our illustrious Chairman having to fend off allegations from HMRC to the unbelievable injury time allowances from a certain referee Mr Deadman - (who again left us infuriated) at Blackpool on Saturday in injury time – Owls must have upset this referee somewhere in his past performances.
"I tell a lie, I don't particularly like to live beside the seaside, and who would if your local team was Blackpool. Alright they're a half decent team, but it is their fans that lead them to shame. As I’m from the Fylde coast the only possible way to watch, what Blackpool fans were describing as "The MASSIVE Wednesday." (They said it not me) was to take my seat in their home stand.
Owls BlogAshley in currently sunning himself in Mexico whilst 2,000 of us were wrapping up warm in Blackpool, but without further a do it's over to Ashley on his debut as he reminisces of years gone by.
