Due to there not being a home friendly this season the Annual Car Park clean up will take place on Sunday 1st August at the Wednesdayite Car Park from 10.00am

The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters' Society, Wednesdayite are pleased to announce the return of the popular pre-match Wednesdayite Lounge for the season 2010-11.

The lounge will once again be based at the popular Niagara Sports & Social Club on Niagara Road for the entire season and will open for the first game of the season against Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday 7th August 2010*

Statement from Wednesdayite, The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society - dated 23rd July 2010.

After the shock and distress of hearing the news of HMRC's winding up order, we immediately contacted SWFC and arranged a meeting with CEO Nick Parker this afternoon. We were assured that the situation with HMRC is under control and the club and the bank are working together to sort the problem in time to avoid any winding up order.

Smile Tickets

Last season Owls fans donated over £3,500 to our Smile Tickets scheme. The money was used to purchase 21 season tickets in the name of ‘Mr. Smile’. The club kindly changed them into match day tickets so that we could allocate them to patients and carers from The Children’s Hospital, Sheffield and to other disadvantaged and deserving people.

One of Mr Smile’s guests last season at Hillsborough for the Nottingham Forest game was Craig Williams, a passionate fan who because he has to use a wheelchair, is not able to attend many matches and usually follows the Owls on the radio.

Away Coach to Colchester United

Away Coach

Sheffield Wednesday will be travelling to the Weston Homes Community Stadium for the very first away match of the 2010-2011 season against Colchester United on Saturday 14th August 2010.

Kick off is at 3:00pm and a Wednesdayite Coach service will be departing from the Wednesdayite Car Park, Penistone Road (Opposite the Kop at Hillsborough) at 8:45am prompt.
