WednesdayiteWednesdayite has no paid staff. We depend totally on volunteers and rely on them heavily for everything we have to do. New volunteers are always welcome.
Specialised Tasks
We are always seeking help with planning, organising and delivering services to our members or for the benefit of Sheffield Wednesday and it's community:
General Tasks
Match days can be particularly busy and stretch our resources. We need stewards in the Wednesdayite car park as well as people to work in the Portable Office. The lounge also gets very busy and additional help in there is always useful.
Every couple of months, we distribute our Wednesdayite News Sheet outside the ground at a home match. To do this effectively, we need a regular team to work in pairs to cover the approaches to the ground.
Other than match days, we also regularly need volunteers to help out with the process of sending out mail shots to members. This task is usually carried out at the Wednesdayite lounge on a suitable evening. The more volunteers we have for this job, the quicker it gets done, so every willing pair of hands is gratefully accepted.

Fund Raising
All of the things we do require funds. The more benefits and services we want to provide for the SWFC Community, the more money we need to raise. Whilst our membership subscriptions raise some basic revenue, it is never going to be enough to allow us to do everything our members ask. If you have any ideas about how you might be able to help with fund raising please contact us.

- Organising and running a range of regular events for members and non-members;
- Producing a news sheet every two months during the season;
- Operating the AwayDay Coach to Owls matches.
- Opportunities to work with SWFC on a variety of projects.
