After the shock and distress of hearing the news of HMRC's winding up order, we immediately contacted SWFC and arranged a meeting with CEO Nick Parker this afternoon. We were assured that the situation with HMRC is under control and the club and the bank are working together to sort the problem in time to avoid any winding up order.
TweetingAs you may know The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters' Society, Wednesdayite are holding a question and answer evening on Monday 19th July with our special guests Owls Chairman Howard Wilkinson and Manager Alan Irvine.
As part of the evening we are planning to make Howard and Alan not only accessible to people in the room but also those that can't make it from all over the world by setting up a Twitter feed.

Wednesdayite have been and will continue to be in discussions with various parties in the pursuit of an equity deal along the lines that representatives of the SWFC Board have indicated would be acceptable to them, the loan note holders and the bank.
As part of this process, discussions have taken place between Wednesdayite representatives, Club 9 Sports and several other interested individuals and groups.
Q&A EveningThe Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society, Wednesdayite is to hold a question and answer evening on Monday 19th July following hot on the heels from our members meeting held in early July.
This time, and with the new season soon to be with us, our guests are Owls Chairman Howard Wilkinson and Manager Alan Irvine.
Members MeetingThe Sheffield Wednesday Supporters' Society, Wednesdayite, are holding another one of its regular members meeting in July and our special guests for the evening will be Owls Chief Executive Nick Parker and Owls Director Bob Grierson.
The meeting will be held in the Springett Suite on the 3rd Floor at Hillsborough on Thursday July 8th starting at 7.30pm and Nick and Bob will be there to answer all your burning questions.
