LOWDOWN
Wednesday continue their away-day sequence with a difficult looking trip to Milton Keynes on Tuesday.

Nevertheless, they can look to the impressive 4-1 win here last year and travel to Stadium:MK for what will certainly be one of the tougher tests for the Owls in the run-in, with Karl Robinson’s men tasting defeat just once at home in 12 games. The Dons snapped up Alan Smith on Monday, highlighting their strengths in the transfer market.

In terms of Wednesday, Gary Megson is hopeful of adding to his January purchases which have seen Stephen Bywater, Miguel Llera, Mike Jones and John Bostock enter the club. Ferrie Bodde has been touted as a possible recruit, but that could be a deal that goes through once the emergency loan window opens in early February.

TEAM NEWS
Only Daniel Jones is unavailable for selection at stadium:mk, with the winger expected to be out of action for around 4-6 weeks. Elsewhere, Julian Bennett and Reda Johnson are set to come back into contention again.

John Bostock is set to start on the subs bench for Wednesday, whilst Miguel Llera and Mike Jones return to the fray after being ineligible for the cup tie. MK Dons could give a debut to former England and Manchester United man Alan Smith, who was signed on a loan deal on Monday.

PROBABLE LINE-UP
Bywater;
Buxton, Rob Jones, Batth, Otsemobor or Beevers;
J Johnson, Lines, Semedo, Mike Jones
O’Grady, Madine

LAST MEETING
OWLS 3-1 MK DONS (September 2011) Gary Madine bagged a brace as Wednesday comfortably secured three home points

Up the Owls
