OWLS v YEOVIL TOWN

Hillsborough

LOWDOWN
Wednesday return back to base after three successful outings in the past two weeks, looking to go second in League One.

A respectable draw at Blackpool was sandwiched between four precious points against Scunthorpe and Milton Keynes, and Gary Megson’s men will be looking towards strugglers Yeovil as the chance to move back up above Huddersfield into the automatic spots.

After tinkering with his side for the last few games, Megson is unlikely to make wholesale changes from the team which earned a valuable point at stadium:mk in midweek. John Bostock is a good bet to make his full Owls debut on Saturday.

As far as Yeovil are concerned, they may not represent fearsome opposition for many Owls fans, but they grabbed three vital points last Saturday when they turned over Preston at home. Andy Williams scored both and will be one to watch for the Owls defence this weekend.

Gary Johnson returned to the Huish Park helm recently, with Terry Skiverton dropping down to be assistant boss. Since his return, Johnson has seen two wins and two defeats as Yeovil aim to survive in League One for the seventh year.

TEAM NEWS
Daniel Jones is the only injured member of the Owls squad at present, although Gary Megson still has decisions to make over Rob Jones who has missed the trip to MK Dons.

Jon Otsemobor and Chris Sedgwick may come under threat for their starting places, with Jermaine Johnson, John Bostock and Chris Lines all vying for Hillsborough starting spots.

Up front, the tried and tested partnership of Gary Madine and Chris O’Grady are likely to continue their fifth game in a row.

PROBABLE LINE-UP
Bywater;
Buxton, Llera, Batth, R Johnson
J Johnson, Bostock, Semedo, Prutton
O’Grady, Madine

HISTORY
Wednesday have met the Glovers five times in total and have never lost; winning three and drawing two. Ironically all three wins have come at Huish Park, with Wednesday drawing both S6 clashes.
