Following the recent relighting of the neon signs on the back of the West Stand, Sheffield Wednesday continue to make improvements around Hillsborough this summer in preperation of the next season.

We've heard that extra focus is being given to improving the playing surface for next season's team following the problems caused by the floods of 2007; and there are other improvements being made around the ground to help enhance the supporters' matchday experience.

Part of those improvements is the replacement of the faded Owl sign on the back of the KOP, looking out towards Herries Road. Today the new sign was placed on the stand, which now sports the full SWFC crest and here we have exclusive pictures of the sign going up.
