Your chance to line up alongside Hirsty!

Sheffield Wednesday legends David Hirst and Phil King along with former Newcastle United star John Beresford will be putting their pedal power to the test in September when they join members of Wednesdayite for a charity Coast-to-Coast bike ride.

Now you have the chance to take part alongside Hirsty and the team for one of the days by bidding in our special charity auction!
A group of supporters and Wednesdayite Directors along with David, Phil and John, will be riding across the breadth of England from Grange-over-Sands in Cumbria, to Filey on the Yorkshire coast. The challenge takes place over three days Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd, and Thursday 24th September 2009 and will raise funds for the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme Charity and The Children's Hospital Charity.

The team are raising funds to help purchase a minibus on behalf of the Sheffield Wednesday Community Programme Charity. The bus will be used to transport Sheffield Wednesday's disabled and special needs supporters to home and away games. Additionally, a proportion of funds raised will be donated to The Children's Hospital in Sheffield, to help fund a CT Scanner.

Now here is your chance to take part in the Coast to Coast and ride alongside Hirsty, Kingy and Bez.
