Wednesdayite Directors to Zip Slide Across Hillsborough for Charity

Charity Zip SlideOn Sunday 25th April 2010 three directors from The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society, Wednesdayite will be zip sliding across Hillsborough Stadium to help raise much needed funds for The Children’s Hospital, Sheffield.
Directors Dave Barlow, Irma Kennedy, Diane Cockayne and Peter Shaw will be joining over one hundred Wednesdayite’s, Owls manager Alan Irvine, Owls Chairman Lee Strafford and Wednesdayite Honorary President David Blunkett to zip slide from the back of the Kop, across the pitch to the Leppings Lane end, whilst getting a view of the ground that few will ever see.
Wednesdayite Senior Vice Chairman Peter Shaw commented “This is a unique experience to raise money for a worthwhile cause that is very close to the hearts of not only Wednesdayite’s, but everyone in Sheffield”.

Places are limited and a £25 registration fee reserves your place with a minimum of £75 in sponsorship.
