When news initially broke of the HMRC winding up petition we sought an urgent meeting at the club and met with Nick Parker that afternoon.
In the light of what we were told and further information which subsequently materialised, we wrote to Mr. Parker seeking written clarification about a number of concerns pertaining to the current financial situation at the club. We had hoped to discuss the club's written response at our Board Meeting with a view to formally updating our members on the situation.
Mr. Parker has not been prepared to respond in writing but we have spoken with him. We asked if he would address an open meeting of fans and shareholders to explain what is happening with the club's finances. A meeting like this, preferably with other board members too, would help us all to assess how best we can assist the club going forward.
Mr. Parker indicated that he would be prepared to do this so we will be urging the club to announce a date for this public meeting as soon as possible.
