Wednesdayite Podcast Hits The Charts!

The first Sheffield Wednesday podcast from Wednesdayite has become an instant hit with fans - immediately hitting the charts in the famous iTunes Store.

 

Wednesdayite's podcast features exclusive audio from the 'Forward Together' meeting with Lee Strafford and David Blunkett MP and is the first in a series to be made available.

The free download became available through iTunes just yesterday afternoon but has already hit high spots in both it's own 'Sports and Recreation' category and the 'Top Podcasts' charts - which are based on the number of downloads form the store.

Currently there are over 100,000 podcasts available through the iTunes Store, however the Wednesdayite Podcast entered the 'Top Podcasts' chart at number 23 - joining names such as Ricky Gervais, Stephen Fry, Chris Moyles and Jonathan Ross, along with other top podcasts and radio shows.

In the 'Sports and Recreation' category, the Wednesdayite Podcast has already reached the dizzying heights of number 2 - second only to The Guardian's 'Football Weekly' show - beating such names as BBC Radio 5 Live, Times Online, Sky Sports and talkSPORT's podcasts.
