For those of you who don't get the match day programme, The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Society, Wednesdayite publish their programme notes on Wednesdayite.com after each home game

Below are our notes for the Owls' top of the table League One clash with Charlton Athletic which took place at Hillsborough on Saturday 14th January 2012.

71 OWLS SHIRTS TO SEND TO INDIA!
Following our request last week for old Owls shirts for India we are delighted to announce that Owls fans donated a total of 71 shirts for Wednesdayite Mark Lomas to take on his trip to Goa.

Mark set off earlier this week laden down with the incredible haul – and he and his friends will be ensuring that the residents of Goa are proudly sporting the only fashion to be seen in this season – a classic Wednesday shirt! Mark has promised not only to take some photos of the lucky locals in the famous blue and white (and orange, and yellow, and black…) but also a video of an Owls representative XI taking on fans of other clubs – all of which you’ll be able to see on the Wednesdayite website.

We'd like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who dropped off a Wednesday shirt at the Wednesdayite Car Park at the Tranmere Rovers games at Hillsborough on Monday 2nd Jan 2012. And also a huge thank you to Mark and his mates for coming up with such an ingenious way to spread the Wednesday word worldwide!

THE WEDNESDAYITE BIG FLAG – PUTTING IN THE MILES WITH THE MASSIVE!
Our Big – in fact, MASSIVE - Flag is a traditional part of the pre-match ritual at Hillsborough these days – and Vice-Chair Eddie is penning a Director’s Blog about the Hoyland ‘family business’ of deploying it every home game (I’ve roped in my Dad, wife and even four-year-old son Tommy to help), which you’ll be able to read on wednesdayite.com soon. But while it’s still a magnificent sight fluttering over the home end on a matchday, some of the Kop residents may have noticed as it passes over their heads that it’s currently got a unique aroma, not to mention a few choice patches of mud spoiling its blue and white purity!

The reason for its slightly-dishevelled state is the work it’s put in following the Owls away from home this season – and the consequent lack of time to clean and dry it out. Over the Christmas period it braved the terrible weather at both Walsall and Preston, and was then called straight back into action for the last two home games. If only we had a substitute flag, then we could perform some much-needed squad rotation…but like Jose Semedo it’s currently irreplaceable – so we ask for you to love it, mud, damp smell and all, until we can get it restored back to its former glory. Let’s face it – the players can’t smell it, and neither can the opposition fans – but they can’t all but help being impressed by the sight of it! Thanks to everyone in the Kop for continuing to make it the best pre-match spectacle in the Football League!
