The Takeover - Thank you Milan , Welcome Hafiz!
I have just got back from France where I had very limited internet so my apologise for the delay in issuing this statement..... No I wasn't visiting RC Lens.......... or trying to find Mr Hulley!
I knew something was kicking off on Tuesday when I got 20 missed calls from unknown numbers (the majority turned out to be press, following google searches of the numbers), I choose not to return these as I had no information, so for those of you who think we chase the press please think again.

FA Cup Dreams - It could be Sheffield Wednesday this season
Every fan, manager and player dreams of lifting The FA Cup – and a new initiative from The Football Association this season is providing a glimpse of what it would be like for Sheffield Wednesday to get their hands on the famous trophy.
In a bid to introduce a new generation of fans to the magic of the world’s oldest domestic football competition ahead of Sheffield Wednesday’s Fourth Round tie against Rochdale at Spotlands, The FA has released a short film showing a young Owls fan dreaming of winning The FA Cup at Wembley.
FA Cup 4th round - Away to Rochdale
The FA Cup fourth round draw took place at 2pm this afternoon.
The family theme for this season’s #FACup continued with Martin and Paul Allen making the Fourth Round draw
We were number 21 in the draw and we have been drawn to play Rochdale away should we be able to get past Macclesfield Town in the replay on Tuesday 14th Janaury following our 1-1 draw at Moss Rose yesterday
The full draw will be shown below (Ties to be played on the weekend of 25 and 26 January 2014)
FA Cup 3rd round - Away to Macclesfield Town
The FA Cup third round draw took place at 4pm this afternoon,
We were number 34 in the draw and we have been drawn to play:
Macclesfield Town V The Owls
The Owls travel to Moss Rose to visit Conference side Macclesfield Town. This will be our first ever visit to Moss Rose
We have only played The Silkmen once before in November 1975 when we played them at Hillsborough is the 1st round of the FA cup and we emerged winners with a 3-1 victory.
With Macclesfield being one of only three non-league sides still in the cup there is a very good chance this may be picked for live TV, and with the current capacity of Moss Rose being only 6,335. Away fans are normally located in the open John Askey Terrace, where up to 1,500 fans can be accommodated. Additionally, 403 seats are usually made available in the Henshaw's Stand, which sits at one side of the pitch.
The full draw is shown below (Ties to be played on the weekend of 4 and 5 January 2014)
