With the signing of Benik Afobe on loan from Arsenal for the rest of the season could we see Benik being remembered as fondly as some of the strikers who have come before him. The lad is still very young and lets give him some time to find his scoring boots.

Every fan, manager and player dreams of lifting The FA Cup – and a new initiative from The Football Association this season is providing a glimpse of what it would be like for Sheffield Wednesday to get their hands on the famous trophy.
In a bid to introduce a new generation of fans to the magic of the world’s oldest domestic football competition ahead of Sheffield Wednesday’s Fourth Round tie against Rochdale at Spotlands, The FA has released a short film showing a young Owls fan dreaming of winning The FA Cup at Wembley.
FA Cup 4th round - Away to Rochdale05 January 2014
The FA Cup fourth round draw took place at 2pm this afternoon.
The family theme for this season’s #FACup continued with Martin and Paul Allen making the Fourth Round draw
We were number 21 in the draw and we have been drawn to play Rochdale away should we be able to get past Macclesfield Town in the replay on Tuesday 14th Janaury following our 1-1 draw at Moss Rose yesterday

Being a Greek living in Germany, I am a big fan and supporter of Sheffield Wednesday FC which was the first English football team I have ever seen. This was many years ago and I was immediately fascinated by the art of playing, the club itself and its amazing supporters!

It will be thirty four years since we played the game that became known as "The Boxing Day Massacre" and we would like to receive your memories of the day. The crowd that day was a third division record of 49,309 , this on a day of no public transport.
